H2R CPA Announces New Managing Partner
H2R CPA announced that Kieran O’Dea, CPA, will assume the role of Managing Partner effective January 1, 2023. Paul K. Rudoy, CPA/PFS, will remain at the firm as a tax partner and advisor following the transition. Kieran O’Dea will be the sixth Managing Partner in firm history, representing the fourth generation of firm leadership.
With a 65-year history and a vision towards the next 65 years, H2R CPA continues to execute on its succession plan that firm leadership has been working on for more than five years. The plan is positioning a new generation of leaders in roles throughout the firm over the next couple of years, while building upon H2R CPA’s core values as a client-driven firm that embraces meaningful change. In his new role, Kieran will guide the firm’s strategic direction while managing the firm’s day-to-day activities and leading business operations and team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
“After 18 years as Managing Partner, I am proud of the success we have experienced at H2R CPA and I am pleased to be handing off the baton to Kieran,” said Paul K. Rudoy, CPA/PFS, Managing Partner. “We recruited Kieran back to the firm with this day in mind. Kieran is a solid leader who knows how to get things done and he has a strong vision of innovation for the future. I look forward to seeing the firm continue to evolve and grow under his leadership.”
“It’s an exciting time at H2R CPA; the internal transition plan we have been developing for several years continues to move forward with positive momentum,” said Kieran O’Dea, CPA, Partner. “Our vision is to remain an independent firm and our team is positioned for a successful future. We have a seasoned leadership team in place to serve as mentors and a very capable team of up-and-coming leaders who are prepared to take the reins.”
Paul Rudoy started in the role of Managing Partner in 2005. Under his leadership, the firm weathered multiple economic downturns, continually evolved along with the computerization of the accounting profession, and remained a strong and steady presence for both clients and team members alike. In 2016, the firm rebranded from Horovitz, Rudoy & Roteman to H2R CPA as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. Established in 1956, Paul’s father, the late Israel Rudoy, joined the firm in 1965 and later served as Managing Partner. Paul joined the firm as a full-time team member upon graduation from Penn State University in 1983. Paul’s specializations include tax, strategic consulting and estate and succession planning for closely held businesses and high net worth individuals.

In Kieran’s current role with H2R CPA, he serves as a partner in the firm’s Accounting & Assurance Services group and is also responsible for the strategic growth of H2R CPA.
