Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer (BGM CPAs) is proud to celebrate 40 years of business and serving clients. In 1982, entrepreneurial CPAs Daniel A. Boeckermann, Brad E. Mayer, and James A. Grafstrom joined their firms to create one accounting firm known as Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer.

While BGM CPAs started as a traditional accounting firm, it has always looked for opportunities to evolve, grow, and explore ways to serve clients best and meet the industry’s ever-changing needs. But through that growth, we have always held onto a strategic vision for the future that includes expanding our service offerings, the industries we serve, and our areas of expertise.

As we have evolved over the years, BGM CPAs has grown from one company providing accounting, advisory, audit, tax, and consulting services into being part of a larger organization known as BGM Group. Today we have offices, team members, and clients across the United States. Our comprehensive service offerings can deliver a suite of services in various areas beyond accounting, including financial, technology, and legal solutions.

BGM CPAs is now nationally recognized, earning recognitions as a “Top 200 Accounting Firm” by INSIDE Public Accounting and as a “Firm to Watch” and “Regional Leader: Midwest” by Accounting Today. Bridge West (our affiliated BGM Group company) is also one of the first accounting firms in the world to focus solely on serving the cannabis industry.

This summer, we announced the expansion and relocation of our headquarters into a new and modern space in International Plaza in Bloomington, MN. Dane Boeckermann, President and Principal of BGM CPAs, said at the time of the move, “This is a very exciting time for us. Our new space is a big step toward the future of our firm. It brings together all BGM Group Companies under one roof, supports a hybrid workforce, elevates our ability to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients, enhances our culture and community, and promotes wellbeing.”
